Every Sunday morning until afternoon, Oakland shimmers with congregations full of gratitude and faith. There are many faith based organizations sprouted up all over Oakland, and on Sundays Oakland residents, proudly attending Sunday service, celebrate their relationship with faith by being creative through fashion. On Sundays, it's very common to see the elders gracefully stroll to their church in electric-blue or green suits with matching snakeskin loafers and decadent hats. Women and children are dressed up to a T--- all creating a beautiful scene in which people take a lot of pride in their personal representation through fashion. The array of colors and luxurious textures signify Oakland's strong heritage and riding my bike around town just to check out people's outfits is another major reason why Oakland is AWESOME!
